The HyperMAX board provides the Features of the Altera MAX10 familiy together with the low pincount Memory Interface as well a several communication pptions. The Hyperbus memories, available from Cypress and ISSI, allows to build small and low pincount systems with high Memory performance. Hyperbus memories are available as RAM and Flash, which are connected via a 12 pin interface to the FPGA. A respective IP-Core to control these memories is available.

A 100Mbit Ethernet Connection, NFC and CAN, as well as a UART / USB Interface are available for communication purposes. A A7001 NXP security device is available to support a secure key storage on the board.

Several extension ports are implemented on the board: an Arduino connector is available on the bottom side of the board, two PMOD connectors for Analog Devices PMOD modules and an 70pin connector with 46 I/O Pins on the top side of the board.

The HyperMAX board is available in two versions: a version with the 25KLE device and a version with the 50KLE device.
